PREVIEW:
Welcome to the Howling Wolf Haunt!Howling Wolf Haunt is a home based haunted house in Parker, Colorado that has been in business for 10 years. We started with a very small Halloween display in our front yard, consisting of wooden crosses made out of fence pickets strung together with dock rope. We graduated to skeletons falling from trees and props hidden behind black landscaping plastic. In the past 8 years, we have dedicated ourselves to building a bigger and better haunted maze year over year, with hopes to one day go commercial. 2014 will be our best year yet, with the maze meandering all the way through the front yard, around the house and through the back yard.

Howling Wolf Haunt strives to provide spooktacular new rooms and areas each year, while bringing back some of our old favorites. The Haunt is built primarily of plywood and 2X4’s, and yes, the Town of Parker requires us to pull a building permit every year as it is considered a “temporary structure”. With over 20 different scenes and rooms to view, hundreds of props (both store bought and homemade), and a slew of live actors ready to pop out at every turn, we pride ourselves on screams, tears and change of clothing requirements from our guests. The build begins in July and the finishing touches aren’t done until Halloween night.  We average 1500 people through our Haunt every year and while the line to get inside Parker’s scariest Haunted House often stretches up the street, we assure you, it is worth the wait.

One of the questions we are asked most frequently is whether we charge admission to tour the Haunted House. The straight answer is no. Although people consistently tell us that our Haunted House is better and scarier than most that people pay to attend, we have always intended Howling Wolf Haunt to be our gift back to the community. That being said, we gladly accept donations of non-perishable food items for the Parker Task Force. This year, we will also be accepting cash donations towards making Howling Wolf Haunt a bigger, better and eventually commercial haunted house.

We hope to see you all this year on Halloween. There is something for everyone so come on by!
